Job summary

Kingsley Healthcare Group is seeking a dedicated Care Home Deputy Manager (Nursing) for Olney Meadows Care Home in Buckinghamshire. The role focuses on leading nursing teams, ensuring safe, person-centred care and maintaining regulatory compliance.

You will support the Home Manager, oversee governance, supervise staff, manage medications, and coordinate with families and external healthcare professionals to maintain high-quality care for residents.

Qualifications

• NMC registered nurse with relevant experience - essential.
• Experience engaging with service users to understand needs and deliver high quality care.
• Ability to identify safeguarding pathways and coordinate with external professionals.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical leadership to nursing teams and ensure safe, compassionate care aligned with regulatory standards.
• Oversee clinical governance and running of the home in the Home Manager's absence; conduct clinical audits and review care plans.
• Mentor and supervise nurses and care staff; manage medication processes and documentation.
• Support pre-admission assessments and risk assessments; liaise with families and external agencies to ensure continuity of care.
