Job summary

Kingsley Healthcare Group is seeking a Deputy Manager (Clinical) to support the Home Manager in delivering high-quality, compassionate nursing care in a CQC-aligned home. You will lead nursing and care teams, oversee medication management and documentation, and drive clinical governance to maintain safety and wellbeing for residents.

The role requires an NMC-registered nurse with relevant experience and prior Deputy Home Manager exposure.

Qualifications

• Deputy Home Manager experience.
• NMC registered nurse with relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical leadership to nursing and care teams to ensure safe, person-centred care that meets regulatory standards.
• Oversee clinical governance and run the home in the absence of the Home Manager.
• Mentor and supervise nurses and care staff; conduct clinical audits and update care plans.
• Oversee medication management and accurate documentation/record keeping.
• Support pre-admission assessments, risk assessments and ongoing evaluations of residents’ needs.
• Maintain liaison with healthcare professionals, residents’ families and external agencies to ensure continuity and quality of care.
