The Deputy Manager will lead clinical teams, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive continuous improvement in resident care and governance.

Qualifications

• NMC registered nurse with strong clinical leadership skills.
• Experience leading nursing and care teams in a home setting.
• Knowledge of CQC regulations and clinical governance.
• Ability to conduct clinical audits and monitor care standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead nursing and care teams; support Home Manager in daily operations.
• Provide clinical leadership, guidance and supervision to staff.
• Ensure compliance with CQC, governance and company policies.
• Review and update care plans, risk assessments and clinical documentation.
• Oversee medication management and safe administration practices.
• Support pre-admission assessments and ongoing resident reviews.
• Identify and escalate safeguarding concerns appropriately.
• Build relationships with residents, families and external agencies.
• Promote person-centred care, dignity, choice and independence.
