Position: Clinical Deputy Manager

Location: Stourport-on-Severn

Type: Permanent

Key Responsibilities:

1. Assist the Home Manager in the overall management and leadership of the care home.
2. Ensure the delivery of high-quality clinical care to elderly residents, with a focus on specialised areas such as dementia care and end-of-life care.
3. Oversee and mentor nursing staff, ensuring compliance with clinical standards and best practices.
4. Conduct assessments and create individualized care plans for residents.
5. Liaise with residents' families and healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.
6. Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records.

Qualifications and Skills:

1. Valid NMC PIN.
2. Advanced clinical experience in elderly care.
3. Demonstrated experience in dementia care and end-of-life care.
4. Strong leadership and management skills.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
6. Commitment to providing compassionate and person-centered care.
7. (Desirable) L5 Leadership and Management qualification, showcasing advanced leadership skills and the ability to manage at a higher level.
8. Familiarity with electronic care planning systems, preferably PCS, ensuring that residents’ care plans are accurate, up-to-date, and person-centered.
9. Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing individualized, person-centered care plans, ensuring each resident’s unique needs are met.
