You’ll help us make health happen by:

• Overseeing and assisting all aspects of nursing care/activities within the home.
• Creating and updating individual care plans for residents, maintaining clear, accurate, and up-to-date medication records with your team.
• Ensuring adequate staffing is always maintained within the home.
• Providing day-to-day support and guidance to the team - promoting residents' independence, choice, and dignity.
• Building lasting relationships with residents and their loved ones, fostering a sense of community.
• Developing strong relationships with local partners, liaising with them to raise the care home’s profile locally and beyond.

Key Skills and Qualifications Required:

• Valid UK NMC pin and commitment to the NMC Codes of Conduct & professional development.
• Understanding the impact of quality nursing care on residents’ lives, promoting independence, choice, and dignity.
• Staying up to date with tissue viability, infection control, and care planning.
• Ability to build relationships, lead, mentor, and manage a team effectively.
• Excellent at prioritising tasks and working efficiently as a compassionate team player.
