Job summary

Hope Citadel Healthcare CIC in Rochdale seeks a Clinical Coder to join the Kirkholt Medical Practice team. You will access EmisWeb, code incoming documents, attach codes to patient records, and triage items for GP review.

The role is 33.5 hours per week, fixed-term for 12 months, with NHS Pension and 35 days annual leave pro rata. The successful candidate will help reduce GP administrative workload and support clinical staff.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a GP practice providing clinical coding support.
• Knowledge of coding clinical documents and NHS workflows.
• Ability to triage and route documents to GPs or other clinicians.
• Proficiency with EmisWeb or similar clinical coding systems.

Responsibilities

• Access the EmisWeb clinical system and code incoming documents/letters.
• Attach codes to patient records and input entries into the clinical system.
• Triage documents to determine if forwarding to GP/clinician is required.
• Support the reduction of GP administrative workload and aid clinicians.
