Qualifications

• GCSE in Human Biology, Biology or Combined Science.
• Educated to degree level or equivalent relevant.
• Accredited Clinical Coding Qualification (NCCQ).

Responsibilities

• Provide an accurate, timely clinical coding service to the Trust and achieve coding quality targets.
• Code diagnoses and defined treatments for inpatient and outpatient activity according to ICD10 and OPCS4.
• Utilize data sources such as case notes, discharge summaries, histology results and Chemocare.
• Support NHS Payments by Results and contribute to revenue through precise coding.
