Responsibilities

• Ensure accuracy and completeness of clinical coding to underpin Payment by Results and national requirements.
• Abstract clinical information and translate medical terminology into ICD-10/OPCS-4 codes for analysis and reporting.
• Maintain high data quality, meet prescribed timescales, and adhere to local and national guidelines.
• Provide clinical coding expertise and training to colleagues and support continuous professional development.
