Everpool Recruitment is seeking a Clinical Assessor for PIP services in a hybrid role based in Gloucester. You will conduct telephone, video and face-to-face assessments and review medical evidence to produce clear reports for DWP.

You'll be an experienced healthcare professional with at least 1 year post-registration and current NMC/HCPC/GPhC registration, delivering impartial assessments with structured hours and career progression.

Formación

• Minimum 1 year post-registration clinical experience in an adult setting.
• Active registration with NMC/HCPC or GPhC.
• Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
• Good IT and typing skills.

What You’ll Receive

Competitive Salary

• Starting Base Salary: £40,000
• At 6 Months (Upon Approval): £41,000
• At 12 Months: £42,000 (additional £1000 12-month uplift)

• One-Off Approval Bonus: 5% paid upon successful approval.
• Annual Performance Bonus: Up to 10% bonus scheme paid quarterly (2.5% per quarter) based on performance.

What You’ll Be Doing

As a Functional Assessor, you'll use your clinical expertise to carry out impartial assessments for people applying for disability-related benefits. You'll:

• Conduct telephone, video and face-to-face assessments.
• Review medical evidence and supporting documentation.
• Discuss how a person's condition affects their daily life and ability to work.
• Produce clear, evidence-based reports for the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP).

Please note: This is an assessment and report-writing role. You will not be responsible for making benefit decisions.
