Everpool Recruitment is recruiting for a Functional Assessor role in Aylesbury, England. You’ll use your clinical expertise to carry out impartial assessments for disability benefits, including telephone, video and in-person assessments, while reviewing medical evidence.

This hybrid, Monday–Friday position offers a starting salary of £40,000–£42,000 with structured training, progression opportunities, and no night shifts or bank holidays.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year post-registration clinical experience in an adult setting.
• Active NMC/HCPC/GPhC registration for at least 12 months.

Responsabilités

What You'll Receive

Competitive Salary

PIP

• Starting Base Salary:£40,000


• At 6 Months (Upon Approval): £41,000


• At 12 Months: £42,000 (additional £1000 12-month uplift)

• One-Off Approval Bonus:5% paid upon successful approval.


• Annual Performance Bonus:Up to 10% bonus scheme paid quarterly (2.5% per quarter) based on performance.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Functional Assessor, you'll use your clinical expertise to carry out impartial assessments for people applying for disability-related benefits.

You’ll:

• Conduct telephone, video and face-to-face assessments.


• Review medical evidence and supporting documentation.


• Discuss how a person's condition affects their daily life and ability to work.


• Produce clear, evidence-based reports for the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP).

Please note: This is an assessment and report-writing role. You will not be responsible for making benefit decisions.

Essential Requirements

• Minimum 1 year post-registration clinical experience in an adult setting.


• At least 12 months' active NMC, HCPC or GPhC registration.


• Excellent communication and report-writing skills.


• Good IT and typing skills.
