Job summary

Excelcare is seeking a commercially astute Quantity Surveyor with Development Manager experience to support its development programme. You will lead commercial aspects from land acquisition through handover, including tenders, cost planning and contract administration.

The role demands hands-on client-side QS experience, strong negotiation skills and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders across refurbishment and new-build projects. Based at Bromley head office with site visits as required.

Qualifications

• Proven development management experience across commercial projects.
• Qualified Quantity Surveyor with cost control expertise.
• Experience leading tender processes and contract administration.

Responsibilities

• Act as Client's Employer’s Agent / QS during construction.
• Administer contracts, valuations, variations and payments.
• Lead tendering, cost planning, cost reporting and post‑contract commercial management.
• Coordinate external consultants and manage pre‑construction processes.
