Job summary

Ethos Resourcing, on behalf of a leading UK house builder, is seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join the busy commercial team in the South East, near Maidstone, Kent. You will oversee financial delivery for new-build residential projects across Kent and East Sussex, with regular site attendance and close collaboration with construction and technical teams.

The role requires 5+ years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent
• Strong experience in cost management and procurement
• Ability to prepare and present financial reports to stakeholders

Job description

Our client, one of the UK’s largest and most successful 5 Star House Builders, seeks an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their busy commercial team, in their South Eastern region, based near Maidstone, Kent. With a huge land-bank and pipeline of works you will help to financially delivery new-build residential projects across Kent & East Sussex. Based mainly from the Maidstone offices 8am to 5pm, you will also be expected to regularly attend your sites, working closely with the construction and technical teams and reporting frequently on the financial standing of each project. Responsibilities will include:

• Procuring sub-contractors
• Processing payments and submission of invoices
• Financial reporting
• Concluding final accounts

You will likely have worked in a similar capacity with a contemporary developer and have 5+ years experience.
