Job summary

CBW Staffing Solutions Limited is recruiting a Data Centre Technical Services Manager for a market-leading data centre in Central London. You will oversee engineering activities to ensure uptime and efficiency of critical infrastructure systems.

You will lead engineers, coordinate maintenance, enforce safety, and collaborate with facilities, IT and security while managing vendor relationships and contributing to capacity planning.

Qualifications

• Qualifications in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Experience in data centre operations or a similar critical infrastructure environment.
• Proven track record of leading and managing technical teams.
• Strong understanding of data centre infrastructure: power, cooling, security and networks.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and demanding environment.
• Leadership and team management skills.
• Project management and organizational abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team of engineers and technicians, guiding and training staff.
• Plan, schedule and prioritise maintenance, repairs and upgrades of electrical, mechanical and HVAC systems.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with facilities management, IT operations and security to optimise data centre operations.
• Manage vendor relationships and contracts for equipment and services.
• Maintain technical documentation including SOPs/EOPs/MOPs and risk assessments.
• Participate in capacity planning and expansion projects.
