Job summary

Strata Construction Consulting UK Ltd is recruiting a Project Civil Engineer for a near Reading role with hybrid working. You will manage civil design for residential sites, coordinating with external consultants and internal teams, and oversee approvals and technical due diligence.

Qualifications

• Degree (or equivalent) in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• Experience delivering UK residential housing infrastructure.
• Strong understanding of highways and drainage design.
• Familiar with adoptable standards and approval processes.
• Confident managing multiple projects and consultant teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage civil engineering design for residential sites (highways, drainage, levels & utilities).
• Coordinate external civil engineering consultants from concept to delivery.
• Oversee technical approvals including S104, S38, S278 and S106.
• Support land appraisals, technical due diligence, and planning submissions.
• Liaise with local authorities, water companies, and statutory undertakers.
• Ensure designs are technically compliant, adoptable, and commercially sound.
• Provide technical support through construction and adoption phases.
