Qualifikationen

• Degree qualified in Civil Engineering (desirable).
• Working towards chartership with ICE or similar approved body.
• Demonstrated success in managing projects, delivery, and quality autonomously.
• Strong client-facing skills and ability to collaborate with colleagues, technicians and external parties.
• Capable of working with own initiative to provide engineering and management solutions.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Willingness to travel for meetings and projects.

Aufgaben

• Lead and manage the Civil Engineering design on assigned projects.
• Maintain and improve quality and efficiency of the department's design work.
• Supervise junior engineering staff and support their development.
• Act as lead consultant, representing Civil on projects and at client meetings.
• Coordinate with highways/roads, water, statutory and local authorities for approvals.
• Prepare sketches, diagrams, and drawings to communicate Civil concepts.
• Attend internal and external reviews and meetings with clients and design teams.
• Prepare civil engineering reports with input from principal engineers.
• Conduct site visits during construction phases and report findings.
