Job summary

Avendra International - Europe is seeking a Client Procurement Manager who will work from home with regular UK travel. You will manage a portfolio of client accounts, lead procurement strategy, supplier performance, and day-to-day delivery in foodservice sectors.

The role combines hands-on account management with the chance to influence spend, improve efficiency, and strengthen long-term client relationships.

Qualifications

• Experience within foodservice, hospitality, catering, food procurement, or a chef background.
• Strong account management and client relationship skills.
• Proven commercial acumen with ability to deliver against targets.
• Understanding of supply chain and procurement processes.
• Proficient in Excel and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Own a portfolio of client accounts, leading procurement and supply chain delivery
• Build strong relationships with client stakeholders and act as a trusted advisor
• Develop and implement procurement strategies, including driving use of Pi (our e-procurement platform)
• Identify and deliver opportunities to grow client spend (incl. non-food categories)
• Manage supplier performance against agreed KPIs
• Lead tender processes and ensure timely, compliant delivery
• Develop retention plans and proactively manage at-risk accounts
• Support smooth supplier mobilisation working with sales, tender and Pi teams.

Client Procurement Manager

Home‑Based with Regular UK Travel

Do you have chef, foodservice, hospitality, or food procurement experience, combined with strong client management skills? This could be the role for you.

This is a client-facing procurement role focused on helping organisations improve how they buy, manage suppliers, and deliver value from their supply chain.

You'll take ownership of a portfolio of client accounts, leading procurement strategy, supplier performance, and day-to-day delivery. The role combines hands-on account management with the opportunity to influence spend, improve efficiency, and strengthen long-term client relationships.

You'll do well here if you're commercially minded, confident working directly with clients, and understand the challenges and opportunities within foodservice operations.
