As a Client Support Officer, you will be responsible for supporting and monitoring the delivery of UK public sector decarbonisation projects, which are funded through grants and loan programmes by BEIS, Scottish, and Welsh Governments. You will be part of one of Salix’s programme delivery teams, managed by a programme coordinator and a programme manager.

Your responsibilities will include ensuring project compliance with Salix’s funding requirements, building strong client relationships, and serving as their primary contact for queries. You will support approximately 20 projects with a combined value of £50m. Additionally, you will actively participate in team meetings and have opportunities to contribute to process and system improvements, enhancing our workplace environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Cultivate strong customer relationships with Salix clients, including meaningful site visits.
  2. Ensure the integrity of client project data using client relationship management systems.
  3. Analyze data to generate insightful reports for our board and funders.
  4. Manage your daily tasks efficiently in a dynamic environment.
  5. Oversee payment processing and cash flow forecasting accurately.
  6. Draft impactful letters and review legal documentation diligently.
  7. Create reports and presentations that showcase your project contributions.
  8. Respond promptly and professionally to internal and client queries.
  9. Collaborate with the Communications and PR team by sharing insights, preparing presentation materials, and representing Salix at events, conferences, and webinars.
  10. Participate in organizational activities, cross-team collaborations, and charity initiatives.
  11. Promote health and safety standards within your team, fostering a culture of well-being.
