About the Role

Carers Information & Support Officer

Can you support unpaid Carers by assessing their needs?

n-compass is seeking to recruit a Carers Information & Support Officer as part of the Staffordshire Together for Carers Service team. The successful candidate will benefit from joining a busy, dynamic team in a remote working environment. The role covers the Staffordshire area, proactively identifying Carers, providing information, advice, and support, including assisting them to access services, peer support, and short break opportunities to lessen the impact of their caring responsibilities.

Use of a vehicle for regular travel throughout Staffordshire is essential.

Essential qualities include effective listening and communication skills, experience in discussing and gathering support needs sensitively, and the ability to provide individualised 1-1 support to adults.
