We are seeking a dedicated Pastoral Support Officer to join our Student Support and Foundation Learning Department at the Openshaw Campus on a permanent, full-time basis (35 hours per week).
Role Overview: As a Pastoral Support Officer, you will support and develop the personal, social, and health education of students requiring pastoral support. Your responsibilities include responding to 'at risk' indicators, developing action plans and target settings, and utilizing internal and external support agencies.
You will proactively support students' achievement by addressing their pastoral and welfare needs, including rapid interventions for disengaged students, and prepare learners for employment and active citizenship beyond their time at The Manchester College.
