Job summary

Rolls-Royce Submarines invites applications for a Client Project Manager to lead a major infrastructure programme in Derby. You will drive client-side governance, ensure adherence to NEC4 processes, and coordinate with delivery partners to achieve safe, on-time project delivery.

The role focuses on defining clear requirements, managing contractual obligations, and ensuring alignment with Rolls-Royce standards across engineering, procurement and construction activities.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in management and delivery of major capital infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of NEC4 contracts, including programme management and change management.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and managing client-side governance.

Responsibilities

• Support the Head of Project in safe, predictable delivery of major capital projects.
• Provide client-side project management, governance and assurance.
• Develop and manage Client Scope documentation for the Delivery Team.
• Undertake NEC4 Project Manager/Service Manager responsibilities as appropriate.
• Facilitate NEC4 risk reduction activities with delivery partners.
• Review contractor programmes for delivery performance and contractual commitments.
• Collaborate with Project Controls and Commercial teams on scope, cost, risk and change.
• Monitor delivery performance and resolve emerging issues to protect outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with CDM and other regulations and Rolls-Royce requirements.
• Coordinate stakeholder engagement and ensure effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
