Job summary

Rolls-Royce plc in Derby is seeking a Project Delivery Professional - EC&I - Submarines to drive delivery across EC&I packages within the MoD CADMID lifecycle. You will work with the EC&I Power project team and stakeholders to establish and maintain PMP, WBS, SoW, BoE, risk registers and more, ensuring delivery to cost, time and specification.

The role requires degree-level qualification (or equivalent), and experience in cross-functional teams, proficient MS Office and SAP, and ongoing PM

Qualifications

• Degree level qualification in a relevant subject or equivalent industry experience.
• APM Project Management Qualification or equivalent PM knowledge.
• Working towards AMAPM or MAPM membership.
• Experience delivering in cross-functional teams.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Analytical with ability to interpret data from multiple sources.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SAP.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain project management artefacts (PMP, WBS, SoW, BoE) in line with change control.
• Deliver to cost, specification and time for assigned work packages.
• Develop and manage supply chain strategies for packages.
• Lead schedule progress updates with stakeholders.
• Report status and monitor project data for trends and corrective actions.
• Ensure controls align with project and financial processes.
• Facilitate risk and opportunity activities.
• Support PM improvements and governance IPT meetings.
• Manage stakeholder communications and governance.
• Create/maintain P6 schedules reflecting scope, resources, timescales.
• Support improvement and engagement initiatives.
