Rolls-Royce plc in Derby is seeking a Project Delivery Professional for Core Tooling to join our core manufacturing hub. You will work with IPTs across design, engineering and shop floor operations to deliver critical tooling and components for submarine programmes, leading planning cycles and driving on-time delivery.

The role emphasises governance, project controls, cost estimation, and collaboration with supply chain teams.

Qualificações

• Experience of managing multiple groups of stakeholders – Essential.
• Desirable APM PMQ and HNC/Foundation Degree.
• Knowledge of P6, SAP and DevOps.

Job Description Project Delivery Professional - Core Tooling -Submarines Full Time Derby - Core Manufacture

Join us as a Project Delivery Professional for Special to Product Tooling and be at the heart of our most exciting projects! In this dynamic role, you’ll collaborate with key stakeholders, embracing the fast-paced and energetic environment of our core manufacturing hub. You’ll play a pivotal role in delivering critical components to our most interesting projects, working closely with Integrated Project Teams (IPTs) across design, engineering, and shop floor operations. Your influence will extend to governance at all levels, leading our 13-week planning cycle, and driving delivery to meet our ambitious goals. You’ll also engage with supply chain teams, creating priority work orders to ensure seamless operations. What you will be doing:

As a Project Delivery Professional, you’ll be focused on collaborative working within a dynamic team, ensuring the effective deployment of programme management tools and processes.

Responsibilities include:

• APM Project Management Qualification (PMQ) - Desirable
• Demonstrable experience within a similar position/entry level qualification (HNC or Foundation Degree) - Desirable
• Experience of managing multiple groups of stakeholders – Essential
• Knowledge and skills using P6, SAP and DevOps - Desirable

The professional level and the salary of the position will be dependent on the skills and experience of the successful candidate. It is advised that you inform your current manager of your application for this role.
