Job summary

Carrington West is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join the Manchester team, delivering development infrastructure from feasibility through to delivery. You will lead design and day-to-day management of schemes, support junior engineers, and liaise with clients while developing drainage strategies and earthworks assessments.

The role involves preparing planning documentation and due diligence for land purchases, with opportunities for progression as the team grows in a fast-moving,

Qualifications

• Significant post-graduate (or equivalent) experience.
• Strong experience in pre-planning and planning stages, with good grasp of detailed design and technical approvals (S104/S38/S278).
• Knowledgeable in MicroDrainage and AutoCAD; Civil 3D helpful.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and day-to-day management of multiple schemes.
• Support junior engineers, delegate tasks, check work, and keep programmes on track.
• Liaise with clients and stakeholders, prepare fee proposals, manage projects, contribute to BD.
• Produce concept and detailed drainage strategies.
• Develop levels strategies and manage earthworks appraisals.
• Write planning documents including Flood Risk Assessments and Utilities Statements.
• Undertake due diligence reviews to support land purchases.
