Job summary

MoneyPlus is seeking a Financial Operations Manager to lead the day-to-day client money and transaction processes across DMP and IVA activity. You’ll head an 8 FTE team, ensuring accuracy, timeliness and resilience in payments, reconciliations and disclosures.

You’ll strengthen the control framework, reduce manual risk and drive end-to-end improvements in evidence, governance and governance change across internal and external partners.

Qualifications

• Practical, current experience leading regulated client money operations with escalation ownership.
• Evidence of strong control ownership and risk-led decision making.
• Experience in debt-management and client money processes is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead safe, accurate and timely client money operations across DMP and IVA activity.
• Maintain robust reconciliations, books and records, segregation of duties and controls.
• Investigate breaks, shortfalls and incidents with timely remediation and escalation.
• Own the operational lifecycle for client money incidents and breaches with RCA.
• Maintain CASS 11 evidence and support audits, delivering actions to closure.
• Produce MI and risk indicators for senior stakeholders and highlight trends.
• Drive process, technology and automation improvements while preserving controls.
• Coach and develop an 8 FTE team, ensuring cross-skilling and coverage.
