Job summary

CMA Recruitment Group is partnering with a small, established accountancy practice in Hamble-le-Rice, Hampshire to recruit a Client Manager who will own a varied client portfolio, act as a trusted adviser, and enjoy direct access to the director.

You will manage accounts, tax and wider business matters across sectors, with hybrid working and a competitive salary of £44,000–£55,000, plus a discretionary bonus and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Must have strong and recent experience in a UK accountancy practice.
• Confident across statutory accounts, corporation tax, personal tax and VAT, including partial exemption.
• Able to manage your own portfolio and deadlines while maintaining high accuracy and client service.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of a varied client portfolio and become a trusted point of contact and develop strong relationships throughout the year.
• Prepare and oversee statutory accounts, corporation tax, personal tax, VAT and CIS work.
• Managing workflow, information gathering and deadlines to ensure clients receive a responsive and high-quality service.
• Helping clients understand their accounts and tax position, explaining complex matters clearly and identifying opportunities to add value.
• Working closely with bookkeeping and payroll colleagues, reviewing work and collaborating with the wider team on more complex client matters.
