Additional Resources Ltd is seeking a Client Manager (Accountant) to lead a small accounting team in a practice offering accounting, bookkeeping, payroll and tax services to small businesses. The role is office-based with the option to work from home two days per week.

You will manage client portfolios, ensure statutory deadlines are met, and provide guidance on tax planning, cash flow and financial strategies. A competitive salary and benefits are on offer.

Qualifications

• Full membership of a recognised chartered accountancy body (ACCA/ACA or equivalent).
• Approx. 5 years of accountancy practice experience, including client portfolio management.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review and submit accounts and tax returns for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies.
• Supervise and support a small team of accountants, overseeing workloads and deadlines.
• Provide technical guidance and ongoing development to team members.
• Review accounting and tax work, identify improvements, and provide feedback.
• Onboard new clients and establish accounting records and requirements.
• Advise clients on taxation matters and tax planning.
