Additional Resources Ltd is seeking a Client Manager (Accountant) to oversee a portfolio of clients, lead a small accounting team and provide technical guidance across compliance and advisory work.

The role is full-time and office-based with the option to work from home two days per week, offering a salary of £53,500 to £58,000 plus benefits. You will manage accounts preparation, tax, and client relationships with a focus on accuracy and deadlines.

Competenze

• Full membership of a recognised chartered accountancy body (ACCA/ACA or equivalent).
• Approx. 5 years of accountancy practice experience, including managing a varied client portfolio.
• Experience preparing, reviewing and checking statutory accounts and tax returns.
• Experience using Xero or QuickBooks.

Mansioni

• Managing the preparation, review and submission of accounts and tax returns for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies.
• Supervising and supporting a small team of accountants, overseeing workloads and ensuring statutory deadlines are met.
• Providing technical guidance, training and ongoing development to team members.
• Reviewing accounting and tax work, identifying areas for improvement and providing constructive feedback.
• Managing the onboarding of new clients and ensuring their records and accounting requirements are properly established.
• Advising clients on taxation matters, tax planning and opportunities to improve tax efficiency.
• Providing advice on cash flow, budgeting and other business-related financial matters.
• Arranging and conducting year-end client meetings and reviewing client fees.
• Maintaining accurate financial records, electronic files and client administration.
