Job summary

WF Risk Group seeks a Client Manager for its Corporate Insurance team in Belfast. You will build and maintain strong client relationships, negotiate with insurers, and manage renewals and new business with accuracy and compliance.

Daily duties include handling client data in our bespoke system, delivering high-quality policy documentation, and supporting colleagues across the Client Account team in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of broking experience across corporate/commercial insurance.
Strong knowledge of commercial insurance products across multiple classes.
Proven ability to develop strong client and insurer relationships.

Responsibilities

Manage valued client and insurer relationships daily.
Negotiate, place, and report to clients at renewal, mid-term and new business stages.
Ensure adequacy and appropriateness of cover and maintain client records in our system.
Support Client Account Executives and Directors; respond promptly to client queries.

THE OPPORTUNITY

We have opportunities available for a Client Manager in our Corporate Insurance team. Working with us as a Client Manager will give you the opportunity to demonstrate your skills by building and maintaining strong relationships with clients across a wide range of industry sectors.

About the role

On a daily basis you will showcase your skills and knowledge by:

proactively managing valued client and insurer relationships.
negotiating, placing, and reporting to clients at renewal mid-term and new business stages.
ensuring adequacy and appropriateness of cover.
managing personal workloads and meeting deadlines.
keeping accurate client records and files at all times, including timely inputting of all client data into our bespoke system.
providing clients with high-quality policy documentation in accordance with FCA regulations.
building good working relationships with the Client Account Executives, Client Account Directors, and the wider team.
responding to client queries, including changes in cover and risk, in a professional and timely manner
attending occasional client visits/meetings in support of the Client Account Executive or Client Account Director.
ensuring that Company procedures, excellent client service standards, and compliance regulations are adhered to and maintained.
contributing to the achievement of team and business objectives by generating sales, identifying gaps, up-selling and cross-selling.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATES

Essential Criteria

Our next Client Managers should have a minimum of 2 years of broking experience, with good all-around corporate/commercial insurance experience and technical knowledge across a range of classes of insurance products.

strong working knowledge and understanding of most commercial classes of business and associated insurance products;
keen attention to detail and the ability to prepare high quality documentation;

IT proficient; (Acturis experience desirable)
high level of motivation and resilience with a proactive attitude.
