Job summary

Capita is seeking a People Advisor / HR Advisor with an educational background to deliver HR advice across employee relations for a Cumbria-based portfolio. The role requires travel across Cumbria and a minimum 50% in-person presence, with options for both full-time and part-time patterns.

Essential qualifications include CIPD, CPD in HR, and MCIPD or equivalent. You will manage HR casework, support client relationships, and contribute to policy development and training.

Qualifications

• HR-related professional qualification (CIPD).
• Evidence of continuing professional development (CPD) in HR and Employee Relations.
• Chartered-level MCIPD qualification or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional and timely HR advice across employee relations matters.
• Remote support via telephone and email; record casework in the CRM system.
• Visit client sites in Cumbria; manage varied caseload including high-risk cases.
• Develop relationships with clients; contribute to HR projects and policy development.
• Ensure compliance with employment legislation and client contracts.
