Job summary

The Portfolio Group Inc. is seeking an HR Assistant to join a dynamic client-facing team in the UK. You will help clients stay compliant and up to date with HR documentation while developing your HR knowledge from day one.

You will be trusted to own client interactions, deliver bespoke documentation, and stay current with employment law updates. Training and a clear career pathway are provided as you progress in HR.

Qualifications

• Practical HR experience and employment law basics.
• Strong written communication and detail orientation.
• Confident in building client relationships quickly.
• Proactive, solutions-focused mindset with research skills.
• Ability to interpret HR legislation accurately.

Responsibilities

• Understand each client's business, challenges and HR requirements.
• Advise clients on HR documentation and employment-related queries.
• Draft bespoke HR documentation, including contracts, policies and handbooks.
• Keep up to date with changes in employment legislation and best practice.
• Manage your workload to meet KPIs, SLAs and deadlines.
• Build strong, long-term relationships with clients through interactions.
• Identify opportunities to introduce relevant HR products and services.
