Portfolio Group is seeking a hands-on HR professional to work with multiple client businesses across industries, ensuring compliance and up-to-date HR documentation.

You’ll apply practical HR knowledge with strong communication to build relationships, draft bespoke documentation, and stay current with employment law changes. The role emphasizes ownership, client interaction, and ongoing training within a fast-paced environment.

• Practical HR experience and a basic understanding of employment legislation.
• Confident communicating with clients and building rapport quickly.
• Strong written skills and attention to detail.
• Proactive, solutions-focused approach to HR queries.
• Ability to research and interpret HR legislation quickly.
• Comfortable managing your own workload in a fast-paced environment.
• Commercial awareness and interest in identifying new opportunities.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Meet with around four different clients each day via video call.
• Understand each client’s business, challenges and HR requirements.
• Advise clients on HR documentation and employment-related queries.
• Draft bespoke HR documentation, including contracts, policies and handbooks.
• Keep up to date with changes in employment legislation and best practice.
• Manage your own workload to meet agreed KPIs, SLAs and deadlines.
• Build strong, long-term relationships with clients through every interaction.
• Support existing clients with ongoing HR queries and documentation.
• Identify opportunities to introduce relevant HR products and services.
