Job summary

The Portfolio Group is partnering with a leading UK professional services provider to recruit a People Manager - Professional Services. You will deliver HR and Employment Law advice to a diverse client base across the UK, helping businesses of all sizes with compliant, pragmatic guidance.

You will receive extensive training and have clear progression into senior advisory or leadership roles, with access to CIPD accreditation and a collaborative, supportive team culture.

Qualifications

• Proven HR advisory experience delivering expert guidance.
• Strong knowledge of UK employment law and ACAS guidance.
• Ability to present options with risks to clients.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work autonomously in a KPI-driven environment.
• Experience handling diverse client bases across sectors.

Responsibilities

• Deliver accurate, legally compliant HR and employment law advice with a strong customer focus.
• Build trusted, long-term relationships with clients at every interaction.
• Meet personal and departmental KPIs and SLAs.
• Respond to client queries promptly and professionally within contractual timeframes.
• Provide clear options and innovative solutions tailored to each client’s business.
• Maintain detailed, accurate case notes on internal systems.
• Support clients with documentation, implementation guidance, and ad-hoc letter drafting.
• Ensure advice aligns with client contracts, policies, and terms & conditions.
• Stay up to date with legislative changes, best practice, and ACAS guidance.
