Job summary

Morgan Stanley is seeking a Client Facing Manager for Hedge Fund Accounting within Fund Services in Glasgow. You will be the primary contact for hedge fund clients, delivering updates on funds and market developments while coordinating with global teams.

You will review fund documents, manage client onboarding and accounting conversions, resolve trade and accounting breaks with offshore operations, reconciling positions and cash, and coordinating year-end audit and NAV sign-off to ensure

Qualifications

Extensive knowledge of complex hedge fund and/or private equity structures.
Knowledge of derivatives, fixed income, options and equity instruments.
Understanding of GAAP and IFRS reporting requirements.
Strong interpersonal, communication and relationship management skills.
Undergraduate degree or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Act as primary point of contact for hedge fund clients and manage approximately 5 client relationships.
Review fund documents and ensure fund setup aligns with the documents.
Assist with new client onboarding and accounting conversion implementations.
Coordinate with offshore operations to resolve trade and accounting breaks.
Review reconciliations between clients and custodians and ensure proper controls.
Coordinate with global colleagues to improve service model and controls.
