We are seeking a talented individual to join our Public Sector Client Executive team at Marsh. This role will be based in Reading. This is a hybrid role that requires working at least three days a week in the office.

This role offers the flexibility of being based anywhere in the country. We provide remote/hybrid working options, servicing a portfolio of housing clients within your geographical remit. Occasional office visits to Reading will be necessary.

Marsh’s Public Sector team is a leading provider of insurance and risk management services. We have been serving the sector for over 25 years across the UK, with clients ranging from small property portfolios to some of the largest associations.

Our success in supporting diverse public sector providers is built on our expertise and experience. A key strength is our people, skilled in identifying individual risk needs, sourcing competitive and suitable coverage, and providing ongoing advice and support.

We will count on you to:

• Manage a portfolio of housing clients
• Identify and agree on strategies for clients’ risk management, risk financing, and insurance needs and objectives
• Lead and approve insurance programme design activities
• Develop budget proposals and negotiate fees
• Host client and insurer meetings alongside specialist brokers and client service teams
• Deliver best practice, market-leading service and solutions for all clients

What you need to have:

• Proven insurance experience, preferably in Property-Casualty (Combined)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong relationship-building and management skills
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities

• Previous client-facing experience and a dynamic approach
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and work flexibly when needed
• Knowledge and understanding of the public sector and social housing sector

Preferred but not required qualifications:

• Cert CII qualified and working towards ACII
