IDEX Consulting Ltd is working with a well-established insurance business to appoint a Client Director to take on an existing portfolio of mid-market commercial clients in the Kent region. The role is hybrid, with office in Maidstone and regular client visits to ensure a high-quality, relationship-driven service.

You will own the portfolio generating around £350k-£400k income, acting as a credible reference for complex cases and collaborating with internal teams to deliver consistent delivery

Qualifications

• Experience in a client-facing commercial insurance role.
• Strong knowledge across general commercial insurance.
• Comfortable managing an existing book and maintaining client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of an established portfolio of mid-market commercial clients.
• Build trusted, long-term relationships through regular client engagement.
• Provide clear, tailored advice across a range of commercial risks.
• Ensure consistency and continuity in service delivery.
• Work closely with internal teams to deliver a seamless client experience.
• Offer technical input on more complex cases when required.
