Cinque Ports Vets Kingsnorth Veterinary Centre is seeking a Client Care Assistant to join our busy reception team. The role involves welcoming clients and pets, managing diaries for appointments and procedures, handling enquiries by phone and email, and supporting day-to-day admin tasks with a focus on accuracy and friendliness.

You will be part of a proactive team, requiring excellent communication, multitasking ability, and a passion for animals.

Qualifications

• Veterinary reception experience an advantage.
• Must have previous customer-facing experience.
• Strong administration and organisation skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure.
• Confident using the telephone.
• Have a passion and love for animals!

Responsibilities

• Welcoming clients and their pets in a warm, professional manner.
• Managing the diary; booking in appointments and surgical procedures.
• Answering client questions via email and telephone.
• Pro-active communication between clients and colleagues to ensure the day runs smoothly.
• Administration duties e.g. scanning paperwork, filling in forms etc.
• Processing prescription requests.
• Taking payments.
• Promoting offers and services.
• Ensuring that reception is clean and well-stocked.

Job Title: Client Care AssistantLocation: Cinque Ports Vets, Kingsnorth and Tenterden branch, with travel to other branches as required. Access to your own transport is therefore essential.Job Type: Permanent, full-timeHours: 40 hours per weekShift pattern: Shifts will vary between 08:00 and 19.30 (to be discussed).
