Cinque Ports Vets in Kingsnorth (Cinque Ports Vets) is seeking a proactive Client Care Assistant to join the team. The role involves greeting clients and their pets, managing appointments, handling enquiries by phone and email, and supporting daily reception operations.

The ideal candidate will have veterinary reception or customer-facing experience, strong organisation skills, and the ability to work under pressure. Travel to other branches may be required, and transport is desirable.

• Must have previous customer-facing experience.
• Veterinary reception experience is an advantage.
• Strong administration and organisation skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure.
• Confident using the telephone.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming clients and their pets in a warm, professional manner.
• Managing the diary; booking in appointments and surgical procedures.
• Answering client questions via email and telephone.
• Pro‑active communication to ensure the day runs smoothly.
• Administration tasks such as scanning paperwork and forms.
• Processing prescription requests.
• Taking payments and promoting offers and services.
• Keeping reception clean and well-stocked.

Job Title: Client Care Assistant

Location: Cinque Ports Vets, Kingsnorth branch, with travel to other branches as required. Access to your own transport is therefore desirable.

Job Type: Permanent, full-time

Hours: 40 hours per week

Shift pattern: Mondays - 12:00-19:30, Tuesdays - 12:00-19.30, Wednesday - 11:30 - 19.30, Thursdays - 9:30-18:00 and Fridays - 8:30-17.00. Plus 1:3 Saturdays - 8:30 - 16:30

Cinque Ports Vets are looking for a pro‑active, empathetic person to join their fantastic Client Care team!

We are busy and your role will be varied. We're looking for someone who can multitask, loves a challenge and working at a fast pace, takes pride in their work; knowing you have made a difference to someone's day gives fantastic job satisfaction.

The duties will involve, but are not limited to:

• Welcoming clients and their pets in a warm, professional manner.


• Managing the diary; booking in appointments and surgical procedures.


• Answering a range of client questions via email and telephone.


• Pro‑active communication between clients and colleagues to ensure the day runs smoothly.


• Administration duties e.g. scanning paperwork, filling in forms etc.


• Processing prescription requests.


• Taking payments.


• Promoting offers and services.


• Ensuring that reception is clean and well‑stocked.

What we're looking for

• Veterinary reception experience an advantage.


• Must have previous customer‑facing experience.


• Strong administration and organisation skills.


• Ability to work well under pressure.


• Confident using the telephone.


• Have a passion and love for animals!
