Medivet Enfield is seeking a friendly Client Care Assistant to join our busy 24-hour veterinary hospital. You will be at the heart of the hospital, greeting clients, coordinating visits, and supporting the clinical team.

The role is 40 hours per week, with a mix of early, middle and late shifts. 1 in 5 weekends with time off in lieu, plus a comprehensive benefits package.

Responsibilities

Welcome clients and their pets to the hospital and provide a warm, professional first impression.
Manage a busy reception area in a calm and organised manner.
Answer telephone calls and respond to client enquiries on email.
Booking appointments and coordinating client visits.
Processing payments and assisting with account queries.
Liaise closely with veterinary staff.
Communicate important information accurately between clients and the clinical team.
Triage emergency appointments and rearrange as needed.
Manage the practice diary to optimise appointment availability.
Process repeat prescription orders.
Undertake daily, weekly and monthly reception tasks.

Triage the impact of emergency appointments, contacting clients and rearranging as needed.
Manage the practice diary to ensure appointment availability is optimised to team skillset.
Process any repeat prescription order requests.
Undertake daily, weekly and monthly reception tasks.

We are looking for someone who has excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A person who is genuinely passionate about providing outstanding client care and is confident, friendly and professional when dealing with clients face-to-face and over the telephone. A person who is also able to remain calm and compassionate in a busy environment. Keep highly organised and able to prioritise tasks and has excellent attention to detail and understands the importance of accurate record keeping.

As a Client Care Assistant, you will be at the heart of our hospital, providing an exceptional experience for clients and their pets from the moment they walk through our doors. This is a varied and fast-paced veterinary reception role, working alongside a dedicated team of veterinary surgeons, nurses and support staff. This role is 40 hours a week, Monday to Friday with a mix of early, middle and late shifts. 1 in 5 weekends (Saturday and Sunday) with time off in lieu. Average 2 bank holidays a year with time off in lieu.
