Job summary

Pets at Home Limited in Rayleigh is seeking a friendly receptionist to be the welcoming face of our practice. You will greet clients and their pets, handle payments, and help coordinate appointments with care and efficiency.

This permanent, part-time role offers Saturday and Sunday shifts with a mix of early starts and later finishes. Salary aligns with National Minimum Wage, with benefits including discount schemes and pension options.

• Delivering exceptional service to clients while ensuring their pets receive the highest standard of care, acting as a vital link between clients and the clinical team.
• Building strong, trusting relationships with clients, their pets, and colleagues across the practice.
• Creating positive client experiences so every visit feels welcoming, reassuring, and worth returning for.
• Greeting clients warmly, offering guidance and support, processing payments, and arranging future appointments with care and efficiency.
• Helping to ensure the smooth daily running of the practice using our online booking systems-strong computer skills are essential.Are you passionate about delivering outstanding customer service and thriving as part of a supportive, collaborative team?, Previous experience in a veterinary setting or customer care environment is preferred.

This is a permanent position working 20 hours per week. The role includes 1 in 4 weekends, with shifts on Saturday from 9am-5pm and Sunday from 10am-4pm. Weekday shifts will include a mixture of early starts from 8am and later finishes up to 7pm.

Salary will be in line with National Minimum Wage.
