Job summary

Lambert Smith Hampton Limited is seeking a Client Accounting Analyst to support the Client Accounting team in Nottingham. You will streamline processes, produce bespoke client reporting, and work with surveyors and clients across the network to improve efficiency.

The role involves budgeting, cash flow forecasting, variance analysis, and liaising with auditors, with responsibilities expanding to project work and documentation across the client accounting function.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of accounting experience.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
• Strong Excel skills and technology adoption.
• Ability to lead projects and deliver to deadlines.
• Experience with Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Support senior leadership to streamline processes and client reporting.
• Provide efficient service to clients and surveyors and collaborate with the team.
• Prepare bespoke client periodic reporting and VAT reporting.
• Manage funding requests to clients and system maintenance.
• Perform budgeting, forecasting and cash flow forecasting.
• Produce variance reporting to clients and liaise with client auditors.
• Attend client meetings (F2F or virtual) as required.
• Develop and maintain process documentation and SOPs.
• Lead projects and provide technical guidance in the Team Leader’s absence.
• Prepare client presentations on performance, forecasts and strategic recommendations.
