Blusource Finance Limited in Nottingham is seeking a Senior Accountant to Client Manager to join our accountancy practice. You will manage your own client portfolio, deliver year-end accounts to FRS 105 and FRS 102, and provide tax and business advisory services with autonomy.

The role offers a 35-hour week, hybrid working, flexibility on start and finish times, and opportunities to work closely with private clients and their businesses in a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Managing your own portfolio of clients and work allocation
• Preparing Corporation Tax computations and returns
• Preparing and filing VAT returns; Companies House filings
• Providing general accounting and business services support to clients
• Liaising directly with clients and building strong working relationships
• Managing your own time and workflow to meet deadlines

The Role:

As a Senior Accountant to Client Manager, you will manage your own portfolio of clients and take responsibility for your work from start to finish. The practice has a relatively flat structure and a team of predominantly experienced professionals, meaning you will be trusted to manage your own workload and client relationships with a high degree of independence.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing year-end accounts to FRS 105 and FRS 102 Section 1A
• Managing your own portfolio of clients and work allocation
• Preparing Corporation Tax computations and returns
• Preparing and filing VAT returnsPreparing Confirmation Statements and other Companies House filings
• Providing general accounting and business services support to clients
• Liaising directly with clients and building strong working relationships
• Managing your own time and workflow to meet deadlines

The portfolio is predominantly accounting-focused and includes a mixture of smaller businesses, property-related clients and investment portfolios.
