Reporting to: Client Accounting Team Leader Responsibilities to include: To support the Senior leadership of the Client Accounting team to streamline processes and efficiency of Client communication / reporting. To provide an effective and efficient service to clients and surveyors and to work in association with the existing team to meet all goals. The clients this role will support are various clients spread over a portfolio of offices within the network of property management offices around the UK.
- Bespoke client periodic reporting
- VAT reporting
- Funding requests to clients
- System maintenance
- Budgeting and forecasting
- Cash flow forecasts
- Variance reporting to clients
- Liaising with client auditors
- To attend Client meetings (Internal and External) as and when required (F2F or virtual)
- Update and maintain Client Accounting processes
- Deep dive into all Client reports and seek to improve via technology / automation / systems
- Liaising with tenants, surveyors and clients
- Adhering to Quality Assurance and ensuring processes and procedures are followed
- Providing support and problem solving for the team
- Acting as a technical expert for complex accounting queries providing guidance to the Senior Client Accountants
- Creating and maintaining comprehensive process documentation, standard operating procedures and best practice guidelines
- Developing and refining quality assurance frameworks and control procedures
- Preparing management reports and KPI dashboards.
- Leading specific projects and initiatives as directed by senior leadership
- Providing technical guidance and process decisions in the Team Leaders absence
- Preparing and delivering client presentations on performance, forecasts, and strategic recommendations
- Ad hoc duties

- Experience with Microsoft Excel
- Forward thinking regarding Technology
Desirable
- Experience with Microsoft Word and intermediate / Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (v-lookups, Macros and Pivot Tables).
- Experience with other Microsoft applications such as Power BI, One Note
- Awareness of general accounting procedures, regulatory standards & compliance requirements.
- Formal qualification: AAT or equivalent an advantage.
- Studying towards further qualifications such as CIMA / ACCA / ACA
