OUR CLIENT is a well-established firm of Chartered Surveyors with over 50 years of experience in the UK. Their client base includes corporate occupiers and property investors, mainly across central London. They are seeking a Client Accountant to oversee client and property accounting for multiple clients, working closely with team members to ensure efficient management of client and tenant funds.

Responsibilities:

• Managing client and property accounting, including billing (service charges, rents, etc.)
• Preparing completion statements, rent reviews, and interest calculations
• Handling onboarding and offboarding of instructions
• Assisting with reconciliation and year-end closing of service charges
• Conducting annual cash reconciliations for service charges and resolving issues
• Performing bank reconciliations of client and tenant deposit accounts
• Preparing and submitting payover summaries, client statements, and VAT reports
• Authorising and reviewing supplier payments and managing client funding requests
• Overseeing and documenting client payments and tenant refunds
