Senior Accountant Job Overview

Joining as a Senior Accountant, you will support the delivery of accountancy, tax, and business support services to a portfolio of SME clients across various industries.

1. Providing guidance and support to junior team members
2. Preparation of management accounts, VAT returns, and CIS returns
3. Initial year-end review for the annual statutory accounts and Corporation Tax returns
4. Preparation and review of self-assessment tax returns
5. Overseeing client deadlines and helping the team prioritize their workload
6. Responding to technical accounting and finance-related queries from the team and clients
7. Providing a friendly point of contact to clients, ensuring timely responses
8. Continuing professional development with a commitment to learning new skills and advancing your technical knowledge

Senior Accountant Job Requirements

Senior Accountant Salary & Benefits

£40,000 - £55,000 depending on skills and experience
