Job summary

Acorn by Synergie is seeking a Customer Care Account Manager near Newton Abbot. The role focuses on building strong client relationships, delivering outstanding service, and supporting growth with cross-sell opportunities.

A long-term client-focused career awaits in a permanent, full-time position with an opportunity to progress. Salary ranges from £26,000 to £30,000 per annum, with 8:30am–5pm hours, plus 1 Saturday in 4 (until 12pm).

Qualifications

• Previous experience in account management, customer service, customer care, retail management, hospitality management, or a similar client-facing role.
• Customer-focused with a positive, proactive attitude.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Confident identifying opportunities to cross-sell and up-sell.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively in a busy office environment.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients, from sole traders to senior business leaders.
• Deliver outstanding customer service and act as a trusted point of contact for client enquiries.
• Work closely with the Manager to achieve business objectives and support company growth.
• Identify opportunities to cross-sell and up-sell products and services.
• Handle customer queries professionally and provide effective solutions.
• Support client retention by delivering a consistently high level of service.
• Develop long-term business relationships through regular communication and account management.
