Job summary

IKEA Leeds is seeking a friendly Click and Collect Assistant to ensure online orders are prepared for seamless pickup. You will support customers, check stock, and help with order processing in a fast-paced store environment.

Responsibilities include maintaining inventory accuracy, assisting with pack and handover to delivery teams, and working a part-time schedule that covers evenings and weekends. A positive attitude and readiness to learn are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service preferred.
• Comfort with computers and handheld devices.
• Able to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
• English language proficiency.

• Ensure products and orders are available and processed accurately.
• Handle stock checking and distribution for pickup.
• Adhere to health, safety and security rules in area.
• Assist with order processing and packing for pickup/delivery.

WHAT WE OFFER

• Start Date of employment will be: 27th September 2026
• Hourly rate of £13.45 per hour.
• 16-30 hours per week, working 4-5 days including evenings and 3 out of 4 weekends, with availability from 7.00am - 9.30pm.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO HAVE

• You are comfortable using computers and handheld devices to support with the checking and handing out of stock or to answer customer questions.
• You proactively look for tasks to be done and use your initiative to complete them in an efficient and effective manner.
• You have an adaptable mindset allowing you to switch between different tasks/areas and work within tight timeframes.
• You work with guidance from your manager to achieve set goals in agreed timeframes using standard ways of working.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY

• You ensure products are available to customers by ensuring tasks in your area are completed accurately and in a timely manner.
• You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with the IKEA Health, Safety & Security Rules & Regulations in your area.
• You work to ensure the efficiency of the fulfilment operation by working in simple, cost-conscious ways, developing, and sharing good examples of ways of working.
• You will be required to manually handle all of our products ranging from LACK Coffee Tables to PAX Wardrobes.
• You will support the processing of orders to both customers and our delivery team including handing goods out and working with uncollected orders.
• You will check the accuracy of picked orders and pack the orders ready to be handed over to the IKEA delivery team.
