Job summary

IKEA Leeds is hiring a Click and Collect Assistant to help customers with online orders and pickups. You will ensure stock is available, assist with order processing, and support the delivery team in a fast, friendly manner.

The role requires flexibility for 16–30 hours per week, including evenings and some weekends, with an emphasis on accurate task execution and excellent service.

Qualifications

• You are comfortable using computers and handheld devices to support with the checking and handing out of stock or to answer customer questions.
• You proactively look for tasks to be done and use your initiative to complete them in an efficient and effective manner.
• Adaptable mindset to switch between tasks/areas and work within tight timeframes.
• Work with guidance from your manager to achieve set goals in agreed timeframes using standard ways of working.

Responsibilities

• Ensure products are available to customers by completing tasks accurately and promptly.
• Responsible for compliance with IKEA Health, Safety & Security Rules & Regulations in your area.
• Work to improve fulfilment efficiency by applying cost-conscious, practical ways of working.
• Manually handle products from LACK Coffee Tables to PAX Wardrobes.
• Support processing of orders to customers and delivery team, including handing goods out and managing uncollected orders.
• Check the accuracy of picked orders and pack them for handover to the delivery team.

• Hourly rate of £13.45 per hour.
• 16-30 hours per week, working 4-5 days including evenings and 3 out of 4 weekends, with availability from 7.00am - 9.30pm.

• You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with the IKEA Health, Safety & Security Rules & Regulations in your area.
• You work to ensure the efficiency of the fulfilment operation by working in simple, cost-conscious ways, developing, and sharing good examples of ways of working.
• You will be required to manually handle all of our products ranging from LACK Coffee Tables to PAX Wardrobes.
• You will support the processing of orders to both customers and our delivery team including handing goods out and working with uncollected orders.
• You will check the accuracy of picked orders and pack the orders ready to be handed over to the IKEA delivery team.
