YOUR IMPACT

As the authority's construction quality guardian, you'll ensure all projects meet the highest standards. Your role will be pivotal in transforming blueprints into durable infrastructure that benefits the community.

You will:

• Ensure contractor compliance with specifications and the Streetsmart Design Guide
• Conduct daily site inspections to uphold quality standards
• Implement traffic management solutions to facilitate smooth traffic flow
• Work with developers to ensure Highway Act compliance
• Oversee project execution from start to finish
• Maintain comprehensive site documentation
• Identify and resolve issues proactively to prevent delays and budget overruns

YOUR PROFILE

The ideal candidate will have:

• Extensive experience in Transport and Highways projects with a reputation for excellence
• Strong knowledge of relevant legislation (Highways Act 1980, NRSWA 1991, Traffic Management Act 2014, CDM Regulations 2015)
• Technical leadership in highway and traffic project delivery
• Proven contractor and project management skills
• Excellent stakeholder engagement abilities
• Financial management experience
• Digital literacy and familiarity with project management tools
