NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is one of the largest healthcare systems in the UK, employing around 40,000 staff in various clinical and non-clinical roles. We provide hospital, primary, community, and mental health services to a population of over 1.15 million, extending to 2.2 million with regional and national services.
This is a permanent, part-time position of 18 hours per week. The shift pattern follows a 4-week rolling cycle: 7am-7pm, 7pm-7am, and 3pm-11pm. (Please note the salary is pro-rata for part-time hours.)
The role supports effective clinical care by providing efficient Health Records services to patients and staff. Responsibilities include managing patient appointments, maintaining confidentiality, and ensuring records are securely stored and accessible as needed.
Additional duties involve administrative and clerical support, maintaining electronic and paper-based patient records, and updating patient demographic and administrative data through the patient management system.

This position is based initially at Royal Alexandra Hospital in Paisley but may be moved to any GGC location. The post may close early depending on interest levels.
