This is an exciting opportunity to work in the Assessment Suite (AS)/Ambulatory Care Unit (ACU) based at the Royal Victoria Infirmary.
We are looking for enthusiastic,motivatedand reliableindividuals to join our very busy team. You will be required to provide administrative support within the main AS and ACU.
Excellent inter-personal and organizational skills are essential as you will be first point of contact for patients, staff and visitors.
Applicants must be able to demonstrate excellent communication, organizational and processing skills. You will be required to work within a large multi-disciplinary team and be capable of undertaking a demanding workload. You should be familiar and confident with Microsoft office packages, and experience of working within the NHS would be advantageous. Knowledge of e-Record and If it would be desirable. Full training will be given.
Hours: 37 hours 30 Minutes/Week - shifts are 3 x long days and also to include night duty 20.00-07.30 (including bank holidays) 6 week rolling rota
Duties include patient registration via the units electronic systems, admission of patients via hospital system.
Making appointment's on schapt book, filing, photocopying, telephone enquiries, processing of daily documentation, as well as face to face enquires from the general public, patients, visitors and staff.
